SnowMAPS Hokkaido is an officially recognized partner ski school of Hoshino Resorts TOMAMU and Teine Ski Resort.
SnowMAPS Hokkaido was founded by Pro Rider Atsufumi Mizuno and experienced ski instructors from Hong Kong and Taiwan in the Hokkaido Powder Belt ski resort area of Hokkaido. Its aim is to promote skiing more widely, allowing adults and children alike to enjoy the thrill of skiing while passing on a love for the mountains and nature. Improving skills, building confidence, and enjoying skiing are the founding principles of SnowMAPS Hokkaido. We provide private, professional ski instruction and tours in Chinese, English, and Japanese at Hoshino Tomamu Ski Resort, Teine Ski Resort, Asahikawa area, and the Chuo region of Hokkaido, helping you fall in love with the skiing lifestyle in Hokkaido.
ATSUFUMI MIZUNO
Born in Mie Prefecture, Japan, and currently residing in Furano, Pro Rider Atsufumi Mizuno is a wise teacher in terms of a lifestyle of coexistence with nature and a skiing style. He believes that the roots of snowboarding are not only in the sport, but also in the spirit; as long as you take care of your body , mind, soul, and environment, you can continue to enjoy the fun of skiing .
